“To God be the glory, great things He hath done…..” rings out from the hearts of the children each Sunday morning as they gather to worship in “Children’s Church.” This song has become their theme song and is the evidence of how God is truly blessing our children. Many times as they sing, their little hands will be raised in praise as the radiance of God’s love shines on their faces. Isn’t it awesome that the Holy Spirit can be in so many places at once! As the adults are worshipping in the sanctuary, so God moves in the midst of the children. But Jesus said, "Suffer little children, and forbid them not, to come unto me: for of such is the kingdom of heaven." Matthew 19:14

It is my desire to plant a seed in the heart of each and every boy and girl who comes through the doors of Stanton Bible Methodist Church that they may know and experience God’s love in their hearts. The Sunday morning that one little boy asked, “How do you know when Jesus is in your heart?” was amazing. Before I was able to answer the little boy’s question, another one of the children said, “You have a different feeling in your heart; you just know!” Wow, all I could do at that point was weep and say, “Thank You, Lord. They are getting it!”  It was only a short while afterwards that the same little boy stayed after the morning service, and I was privileged to lead him in letting Jesus into his heart! God is so good! It is my heart’s desire not only to teach the boys and girls the “stories of Jesus,” but to exemplify His love through my life!
